GO PADRES!

Welcome to San Juan School

This year we will again be implementing school uniforms.  Click on the following link  for more information.  Wednesdays will still be Padre T-shirt day and Fridays will be free dress day.

The Dual Immersion Language Program is perfect for parents who want their children to know both English and Spanish.  How does it work?  Children learn in Spanish and English starting in Kindergarten.  By the time they exit the 4th grade, the children are fluent in both languages.  This is perfect for parents that want their kids to know two languages as well as children who do not have a wide English vocabulary by school age.  Our school is "dedicated to providing our Dual Immersion students with the tools and environment necessary to help them overcome the challenges".

Anzar High School Presents

8th grade PARENT Orientation

Wednesday, Friday 11, 2015

Tour at 6PM, sharp; Orientation program at 6:30 PM, Room 206

All 8th grade parents are welcome to attend! (The program is designed for parents, not students. Students will be invited to participate in two separate later events: an introduction day in the spring, and Link Crew/freshman orientation in the summer.)

Agenda: overview of school programs (Advisory program, service learning, athletics and clubs, etc.), academic and behavioral expectations, Anzar college-prep curriculum, and sample 9th grade schedules. A campus tour will be held at 6 PM sharp (before it's completely dark out). The orientation will be run by several staff members and Anzar students, giving you an opportunity to meet several of your student's future teachers. There will be time to ask questions after the program is over.
